 DSL General Information
DSL Service usually takes about a week to activate.

Standalone (Dry Loop) DSL is DSL service that is not attached to an existing phone line. The installation of a copper line by the DSL provider is usually necessary, because of this it can take 3-4 weeks for an activation date to be assigned.

Modem: If a modem is needed you can purchase a D-Link modem from us for $49.95, however, if you'd prefer you can use your own.*

There is a $14.95 shipping charge for the D-Link modem. Under Covad Service, a modem must be purchased.

Terms: You may choose month-to-month or a 24 month term.
In a 24 month term contract, the purchase of a modem will be refunded after being active 1year/12 months.

Billing: We can either bill you for your customers or we can bill your customers directly, whichever you'd prefer. We will either automatically charge your credit card on the 1st of the month or you may elect to pay us by check monthly. Billing is prepaid.

      Credit Card
Your first charge will appear on your credit card on the day the service is activated. It will include your first partial month of service, your next full month of service, and if you purchased a modem, the modem and shipping.

Your second charge would appear on the 1st of the second full month of service for the amount of the selected service and you would continue to be billed on the 1st of the month for the remainder of the life on the account.

      Check
In your first mailing you would receive two invoices. The first is for your first partial month of service, your next full month of service, and if you purchased a modem, the modem and shipping.

The second invoice is for the second full month of service and would be due before the first of that month. Each month you'd receive an invoice due before the first of the following month for that month to avoid a suspension of service. Since our system is automated, suspensions occur automatically and there is a reconnection fee of $50.

*Equipment and Support

If you do not purchase a modem from us, Virtual Network Solutions, we will not be held responsible for its setup. We will only be responsible for ensuring you are receiving DSL to the D-Mark and that any username and password we provide you are accurate and can be authenticated.

If a modem is purchased from us, Virtual Network Solutions, we will provide support for our modem. However, we will not be held responsible for any equipment that was not purchased from us, i.e. routers, firewalls...etc.

**For customers setting up Rowe jukeboxes; Rowe recommends using modems in bridge mode and setting up the DSL through a PPPoE connection over their routers.

***Our modems have only been tested with Rowe jukeboxes.
